Florida Aquatic Preserves Metadata

The Florida Aquatic Preserves data files contain metadata documents that provide additional information about the data collected and are available through this data portal. Metadata documents are modeled after the National Estuarine Research Reserves (NERR) System-Wide Monitoring Program (SWMP) and explain all aspects of the data including information about how the data are collected, data QA/QC methods, and any other remarks about the data set that would be valuable to the user and aid in interpreting the data. Metadata files are automatically included with every data export and available on this page.

Please note that all metadata documents are considered provisional and have not been authenticated. Contents of the documents are subject to change and should not be considered a final record of data documentation until the review process is complete. Data should not be used without referring to the associated provisional metadata first.
